I was first inspire to make painting my profession when I visited a modern art gallery in Brasil. I wanted to create Art that will express important and precious theme for the Jewish heart, but in a contemporary and different style. And that can also suit a luxurious and dignified atmosphere.

BIOGRAPHY
Lina Tsarfaty Hazan was born in 1974 in Jerusalem, Israel.
From an early age, she discovered her love for art and painting.
She studied art history at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem
And for many years she studied Jewish thought and Torah
And also completed her studies in graphic design.
As a painter she is self-taught.
Most of her professional creative work as a painter began in Brazil where she lived for 13 years from 2001-2014 there she was inspired by Brazils great contemporary artists.
among her achievements in the art world is the winning of 2 international awards for art
and the participation in an exhibition in the prestigious Louver museum in Paris in 2019
Today lina's studio and gallery is located in
North Israel
and from there she keeps creating new art and is selling her art to all over the world

ARTIST STATEMENT
If I need to summarise my art in a few words I will call it:
Contemporary Art inspired by Ancient Jewish Wisdom.
I Choose issues from Jewish Wisdom literature that specially impact me.
I Paint mainly with oil paintings on canvas .
my painting style is different, it has sometimes a geometric aspect a little of the classic, modern, a lot of abstract, and some times all together at the same canvas.
I Do that because I don't intent to stick to a certain style or technique my focus is the message of the art.
